Success Stories

Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT) has benefitted numerous individuals. Whether overcoming fears or accepting a grievance, RRT can help remove negative feelings, thoughts and behaviors and inspire change to help individuals live a more positive life. The following are just a few success stories from RRT.

Overcoming Trauma
Being raped at a young age, the client felt anxious and had bad feelings about her own judgment. She had fears of what people would do if they knew what happened. After working with a therapist using RRT, she no longer felt anxious about it. At her next session with her therapist, she stated that it was as if the experience had never happened.

Relief
The client had been anxious since he was a teenager. Now in his late 30s, he found himself being obsessive and compulsive.  He could not take the first item off the shelf, or the first hanger from the closet—he couldn’t even take the second or third item. After RRT, he was amazed—and so was his wife—that he could now take the first item easily with no more anxiety and obsessive compulsive behaviors.

Accepting the Past
When the client was 11 years old, her mother passed away. For 30 years, she had been unable to talk about it and would suppress any feelings that arose. She knew that the grief and feelings over her mother’s death were hurting her. After RRT, she was able to release the grief that she had, talk about her father, and even laugh at some of the enjoyable moments they shared.

Finding Family
After the birth of the client’s third child, she was diagnosed with post-partum depression and was also experiencing panic attacks.  She withdrew herself from life, but mostly from parenting. After RRT, she was able to see herself as a strong person and not being out of control. Instead of the anxiety taking over with the panic attacks, she felt that now she could take over. She is now fully involved in her life—especially with her family.

Living Life
For as long as he could remember, he dealt with anxiety and knew it would someday cause him to die of a heart attack. Several members of his family had died from this, and he felt on alert that he would be next. The feelings that he had of ”today being the day that he died" was taking a toll on him and his relationships. After RRT, he felt relieved, calm and at ease. His fear of impending death is no longer prevalent in his life.

No Longer Alone
He felt alone for as long as he could remember.  Feeling that he couldn’t connect with people, he just wanted to be by himself.  When he started meeting with his therapist, he realized that a sexual assault that happened when he was a child was affecting his relationships. After RRT, he felt like, for the first time, he was normal and free from what had happened.

Being Social
Within the past six months, she had put on about 70 pounds. She felt self-conscious about it and didn’t want to go anywhere. She knew people were going to judge her.  After working with her therapist, she realized that her “self” is separate from how much she weighed. RRT had helped her to feel peace and comfortable in her own skin. She can now go out and be social.
