Counseling and Therapy for Aurora Individuals and Families
How We help Aurora Residents
Aurora is a big city with a lot going on, from the Paramount Theatre and the Fox River downtown to the busy Fox Valley area on the east side. Our office on North River Road in north Naperville is a short drive from Aurora's east side and about 20 minutes from downtown. Our therapists and psychologists work with Aurora adults, couples, families, children and teens, in person or by Telehealth.
Aurora clients come to us for individual therapy, marriage and couples therapy, family therapy, child and teen therapy, psychological assessments, Medicare counseling and play therapy for young children. Our intake coordinator checks your insurance before your first visit so there are no surprises.

Support for Aurora Students and Families
Aurora students attend schools across several districts, including East Aurora 131, West Aurora 129 and Indian Prairie 204, where Metea Valley and Waubonsie Valley serve much of the east side. We also see students from the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy and from Aurora University and Waubonsee Community College. College students can meet in our office or, while they're in Illinois, by Telehealth.
Telehealth for Aurora Adults
If the drive doesn't fit your schedule, adults can meet by secure video from anywhere in Illinois and keep the same therapist. Child and teen counseling and testing are in person at our office.
Local Support Between Sessions
If you're in crisis, call or text 988. Most of Aurora is in Kane County, where NAMI Kane-South, DeKalb & Kendall Counties offers support groups and education. Residents on the DuPage County side can reach the DuPage County Health Department's 24-hour crisis line at (630) 627-1700.
