About Dr. Michael Kelley

Michael is a clinical psychology post-doctoral fellow with over 5 years of experience working across the lifespan. He is grateful and appreciative of the opportunities he has had in the past to work with individuals as young as 6 years old to 95+ years young. He has worked in a variety of settings including private practice, physical medicine rehabilitation hospital, and a federally qualified health center (FQHC)/community mental health setting.

 

Michael takes a holistic approach to build connections with his clients and to create a space where they feel welcomed. He practices using an integrative approach that is strength-based and evidence-based. He takes a unique approach to therapy as clients have described him to be relatable, humorous, and provides sincere and open communication in session. Through this approach he promotes a judgement-free space to help build a healthy mind-body connection.

 

Whether it is anxiety/depression, pain, sleep, trauma, ADHD/ASD, life stressors, or other concerns that bring you in; Michael works to build a healthy space for you to achieve your goals. He is a firm believer in the quote: “When one door closes, another door opens.” With this in mind, you can expect to feel heard as you navigate through the most challenging times in your life with Michael.

 

Michael has received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from Midwestern University. His fellowship training focuses on a variety of individual therapy concerns including, but not limited to anxiety, depression, pain management, sleep hygiene, and mood disorders.
