About Katie Cockrell

Katie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with empathy, compassion, and evidence-based care. She specializes in working with teenagers, adults, couples, and families facing issues such as substance use disorders, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, self-harm, eating disorders, and relationship difficulties.


Her approach is grounded in meeting clients where they are, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where they feel seen, heard, and supported. She draws from CBT, DBT, ACT, and other proven therapies, tailoring each session to meet her clients’ unique needs and goals.

 

Katie collaborates to help individuals build coping skills, deepen self-awareness, and move toward lasting emotional well-being. Whether you're processing painful experiences, managing difficult emotions, or strengthening your relationships, she is here to walk alongside you with warmth, respect, and authenticity.
